SPECULATIVE FILE
Mars — the ultimate off-world what-if
Elon Musk’s SpaceX is pursuing the long-term ambition of a human presence on Mars. For OZomb, that inspires an irresistible thought experiment: leave the entire zombie planet behind. This is a speculative setting, not an available escape route or an established human settlement. A fictional Mars refuge would trade the horde for life-support dependence, difficult resupply and an environment where the habitat itself is essential.
